Our Moss & Mushroom Soy Wax Candle brings the deep quiet of the forest floor into your space. Hand-poured in small batches using eco-friendly, environmentally friendly soy wax, this candle is rooted in nature’s subtleties. The opening lifts with airy greens and soft citrus, like the hush before a breeze. Beneath that, enoki mushroom and moss blend into the earthy aroma of rich soil and shaded trails. A grounding base of cedarwood and sandalwood, with a whisper of patchouli and vetiver, creates a meditative, long-lasting scent experience. Available in three sizes, 10.5 oz ceramic with a hand-fired bamboo lid, and 7 oz or 3 oz mason jars with pewter-colored lids, this candle is ideal for quiet mornings, mindful evenings, or moments of reflection. When the wax is gone, repurpose the vessel as a planter or catch-all to continue your low-waste journey.

Each of our candles is handcrafted by none other than us! No outsourcing here.

 

We make every candle by hand in our home in Northern Virginia down to printing and hand placing every label. Due to the nature of handcrafted products, slight variations should be expected from candle to candle, such as minor wax discoloration and deformation, labels that are not perfectly centered, variations in color for candle lids, or small markings or blemishes on the candle jar exterior. 

These imperfections will never affect the quality of the candle - we have spent over two years perfecting our candle recipe and in-house manufacturing process. We trust our process will leave you feeling happy with your candle. However, if for whatever reason you are unsatisfied, let us know and we will try to correct the problem however we can. 

Also, please note that certain fragrances may cause the inside of candle tins to rust; this is an entirely normal reaction to the ingredients used.

Candle Care Instructions

With your candle, trimming the wick before each use is essential for a cleaner, longer-lasting burn with minimal soot. Accumulated carbon on the wick, a normal result of burning, can lead to increased soot and excessive heat when relit, diminishing the quality of your candle's performance. If you see black smoke on the inside or edge of your candles, carbon buildup is likely the culprit. Always trim your wicks to 1/4 inch to remove this buildup.

 

Always allow your candle to burn for 30 minutes to an hour, allowing a full wax pool to form. If you blow our your candle before a full wax pool (edge to edge) has formed, you may reduce the life of your candle.
